SeDerek Baker joined the Elite Training of Louisiana team in September 2023 as a Corporate Trainer. SeDerek is certified with the American Heart Association in CPR/First Aid, is an OSHA 1926 certified outreach instructor, and is certified in Permit Required Confined Space. SeDerek is detail oriented and committed to ensuring his training meets the needs of each individual organization and their workforce. His past experience with EDCO, LLC instilled in him the passion for safety and ensuring those he instructs learn why safety is important.

Prior to joining the Elite Training team, SeDerek served as a corporate trainer at Training Logic. Before pursuing his passion as a trainer, SeDerek worked as an Administrative Coordinator III with the State of Louisiana. Prior to state employment, SeDerek spent many years with EDCO, LLC as a Crew Foreman, Safety Coordinator and Manager of Safety and Training. In his role with EDCO, SeDerek created, implemented, and modified safety and training programs and policies; ensured customer and regulatory compliance and designed and maintained the company’s audit and inspection database.

SeDerek grew up and still resides in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. He has been an LA Lakers fan since birth, loves the fighting Tigers of LSU and the New Orleans Saints. When not training SeDerek enjoys live music, sporting events, fishing, cooking, and grilling (food in general) and spending time with his family.
