Maintain OSHA Compliance with 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Training

8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Training helps employees maintain OSHA compliance and refresh their knowledge of hazardous waste operations and emergency response procedures under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. This annual refresher course is designed for workers who handle hazardous materials, hazardous waste, or emergency response situations as part of their job responsibilities.

Participants will review important workplace safety topics related to hazardous materials, chemical exposure, personal protective equipment, emergency response procedures, and hazard recognition. This training helps reinforce safe work practices, improve emergency preparedness, and reduce workplace risks associated with hazardous environments.

Training will:

  • Discuss the following topics:
    • Poisons
    • Chemical Exposure
    • Hazard Assessment
    • Fires and Explosions
    • Reference Materials
    • Oxidizers
    • Oxygen Deficiency
    • Ionizing Radiation
    • Heat Stress/Cold Exposure
    • Noise Exposure
    • OSHA Standard 1910.146
    • Air Monitoring
    • HazMat Terminology, etc.
  • Result in certification upon successful completion of comprehensive test
