Elite Training of Louisiana is proud to be an Authorized Training Provider (ATP) for the Alliance Safety Council. Through this partnership, we are now offering access to the nationally recognized Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) program—designed to equip safety professionals with the tools they need to make an immediate impact in the workplace.

About the COSS Program

The COSS program is a rigorous, 40-hour curriculum intended for new or experienced safety personnel looking to deepen their knowledge of occupational safety and health. It covers:

• Hazard identification and corrective action planning
• Job hazard analysis and risk assessment techniques
• Differences between safety inspections and audits
• Effective safety training and communication skills
• Development and maintenance of company safety programs

Live, Online Format

This course is delivered live online by expert instructors provided by the Alliance Safety Council. It includes real-time instruction via Zoom, daily assignments, quizzes, a final exam, and a 10-minute safety presentation by each participant.
