Elite Training of Louisiana is proud to offer access to the COSM Program through our partnership as an Authorized Training Provider (ATP) for the Alliance Safety Council. This advanced training is designed for experienced safety professionals ready to step into higher-level leadership roles.

About the COSM Program

The Certificate for Occupational Safety Managers (COSM) is a 40-hour course that builds strategic and leadership-level knowledge in safety management. To qualify, participants must have at least two years of safety, health, or environmental work experience.

The curriculum focuses on high-level safety responsibilities and includes:

• Essentials of safety management
• Strategic planning and evaluation
• Risk management and safety finance
• Communicating the safety message
• Injury management, incentives, and discipline

Live, Online Format

The COSM program is delivered live online over five full days via Zoom. Sessions are instructor-led and include interactive elements and daily assignments. Alliance Safety Council provides all course materials and credentials.
